Dessert: its something I’ve given up mostly since I’ve been hardcore on the paleo eating, but every once in a while you just want something sweet to top off the meal and how do you do that without violating your no sugar, no gluten rule?

Paleo Tart sauce

2 ripe plums

2 ripe nectarines

a dash of cinnamon

a drizzle of honey (optional)

Peel and mash the fruit in a large bowl. Once it is uniformly mashed, but still chunky, add a little honey if you like. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top and chill or serve right away.
